This week, from May 6-8, Microsoft BUILD conference is happening near Microsoft´s home in Seattle, WA. With about 6000 people from around the world, BUILD is Microsoft´s largest yearly developer conference. Microsoft's AI allows to analyze large amount of data, even interpreting and indexing handwritten documents and learning key topics. In the Microsoft AI.Lab, engineers combined Azure Search and Cognitive Services to analyze more than 34,000 pages and scanned evidence photos related to the assassination of US president John F. This week, from May 21st to 23rd, SharePoint Conference North America 2018 took place in fabulous Las Vegas, in the MGM Grand Hotel. Microsoft BUILD conference 2018 took place two weeks ago in Seattle with over 350 sessions covering Azure, Visual Studios, Microsoft 365, and more. Although you can watch the sessions online at mybuild.microsoft.com/sessions, sometimes it’s helpful to have them downloaded. You can do so with the following PowerShell script.

Joining the Microsoft Graph Community Calls

Microsoft Graph is the unified endpoint to programmatically access resources and services in Office 365. To inform the developer community with the latest news, the Microsoft Graph team organizes a monthly Microsoft Graph API community call. We, Toni and I, were happy to contribute a use case at the last call showing a scenario of an Office 365 Group orchestration workflow with PowerApps, SharePoint, Azure Functions and Microsoft Graph. Impressions of Microsoft Ignite 2017

It was a busy week! Ignite is the largest and leading event for IT-Professionals and Decision-Makers in the Microsoft universe. This year, the conference took place in Orlando, Florida, from 25th to 29th September. With approximately 30,000 attendees and about 700 breakout, a lot of theater-sessions  a large expo and a lot of networking this event was … big #dataoverflow. See my personal impressions here.
