It's a wrap! The European Collab Summit and Cloud Summit (www.collabsummit.eu) are sister conferences and are the major community-driven technology conferences focusing on digital transformation, the Cloud, and modern workplace.
This year, after being remote for almost two years, the atwork-team attended the conference as speakers and attendees (of course in compliance with the COVID-19 safety concept), and we had a blast!
The conference took place from 11/29 - 12/2 at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, with excellent experts who informed about topics, such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Artificial Intelligence, SharePoint, Microsoft Viva, Teams, Yammer, and Business Apps & Power Platform. This focus is further strengthened by the partnership with Microsoft Teams as a Premium Technology Partner.

As both speakers and attendees, we, as the atwork-team were proud to be part of ESC. We delivered the following sessions (see full agenda here):
Paul Schnetzer, Developer from atwork said, "For a Junior Developer the ESC is impressive and from time to time a little bit overwhelming. Hundreds of sessions (at least it felt like) from so many different experts. It's no wonder that decision fatigue and FOMO (fear of missing out) was my constant companion during this summit. If you finally choose your sessions and visit them, you can gain a lot of knowledge and new insights into the big world that is the Microsoft universe. The people are collaborative, and you can feel that they have something worth sharing. All in all, a great opportunity that you should take advantage of if you can."
Mercedes Orasch, CCO from atwork added, "At the beginning, I was a bit unsure if some of the sessions were too technical for me. Since this was not the case, in my opinion, the organizers created a good mix for every target-group. I was able to take away a lot for my daily business and thus also feed our customers with new knowledge and inspiration."
Johannes Zarre, Developer from atwork was also enthusiastic and said "The Microsoft Collab Summit was an exciting and informative event that gave me much insight into the World of Microsoft Products and its Family. The diversity of offered Workshops guided by leading MVPs and Microsoft employees gave me a lot of tips and tricks for my daily business. I learned a lot about new exciting topics which will help me in the future. It was an experience I won't soon forget."
To wrap this up: the speaker lineup was terrific, and we would like to thank all speakers who took the time to travel to Düsseldorf to share their knowledge and enthusiasm because #CommunityRocks!
