What an amazing first edition of AgentCon Vienna!
AgentCon World Tour rolls across the globe, with community chapters organizing events worldwide to bring people together to learn and collaborate on AI technologies. The intention of AgentCon is to explore agents from different perspectives - understanding how to adopt them, how to develop them, and how to control them.
As the Vienna chapter leads, Toni and I wanted to organize an event with an agenda that appealed to everyone interested in this space. Everything we selected was deliberately hand‑picked - from an awesome location that combines modernity and history in one place, to the sessions, all the way down to the food. And it was absolutely worth the effort: the energy, the people, and the insights made this event truly outstanding.
Here’s a short recap of a great afternoon full of Agents and AI.
What an incredible afternoon at AgentCon Vienna!
About 200 AI enthusiasts gathered on January 29, 2026, at the fantastic Prisma | by Lumia event location in Vienna’s central 2nd district to explore how developers can leverage modern AI services and agent‑based architectures to unlock the next wave of innovation with Microsoft Foundry and other cutting‑edge AI platforms. The energy across the rooms was both inspiring and truly remarkable.
