For many years, our Teams App Cloud Hub has helped Microsoft 365 professionals stay informed about important service changes, product updates, Message Center announcements, Microsoft blogs, and other relevant cloud news directly in Microsoft Teams. We are grateful for the trust our customers have placed in Cloud Hub and are proud that many organizations have used the app to stay up to date with the rapidly changing Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Today, we want to inform you about an important upcoming change.
Cloud Hub Will Be Retired on September 30, 2026
The free Cloud Hub app will be retired effective September 30, 2026.
After this date:
- No new Microsoft 365 data and updates will be delivered to the app.
- Existing content may remain visible for a limited period, but the service will no longer be actively maintained.
- Future enhancements and new features will not be added to Cloud Hub.
As Microsoft 365 continues to evolve, we have focused our development efforts on a completely new generation of the product: Cloud Hub Pro.
Introducing Cloud Hub Pro
Cloud Hub Pro is the successor to Cloud Hub and provides a modernized experience with enhanced functionality, improved performance, and an improved architecture.

For example, Cloud Hub Pro keeps you informed about important announcements such as Microsoft’s retirement of SMS and voice-based multifactor authentication services on February 1, 2027, and the transition to passkeys as the future of secure authentication, and many more roadmap and update tips.
Cloud Hub Pro has been redesigned from the ground up to deliver a better experience for Microsoft 365 administrators, IT professionals, and business users who want to stay informed about relevant cloud developments.

Try Cloud Hub Pro Free for One Month
To make the transition as easy as possible, Cloud Hub Pro includes a free 30-day trial. Get started with Cloud Hub Pro today and follow the step-by-step installation guide in our Getting Started documentation.
Organizations can evaluate all capabilities before making a purchase decision.
After the trial period, Cloud Hub Pro is available for $12 USD per user per year, with a minimum purchase of 10 user licenses per organization. For most organizations, this represents a very low annual cost while providing access to a continuously maintained and enhanced service.
Cloud Hub Pro is also eligible for Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC/Azure Benefit), allowing eligible organizations to apply their Azure spending commitment toward the purchase.
We Encourage Existing Cloud Hub Customers to Upgrade
If your organization currently uses Cloud Hub, we strongly recommend starting your evaluation and migration to Cloud Hub Pro as soon as possible.
Moving early allows your users to become familiar with the new experience well before the retirement date and ensures continuous access to important Microsoft 365 updates without interruption.
If you no longer require Cloud Hub, you can remove the Enterprise App from your Microsoft 365 tenant. Search for the “Cloud Hub” application with the Application ID b5d4e933-e001-4168-83f8-abdd974877bd and remove it.
