My personal journey with Microsoft technologies set the stage for my entry into the PC world, starting with MS-DOS, and writing my first professional software using Clipper and dBASE III+. This foundational knowledge paved the way for my transition to Microsoft Windows and Visual Basic. As the internet started to flourish, I delved into web development, creating dynamic web pages using Active Server Pages and Microsoft SQL Server. When Microsoft .NET became available in 2002, I transitioned to developing in ASP.NET and other web technologies, concentrating on crafting robust web solutions tailored to diverse business requirements. Today, I see myself as a solution architect specializing in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Azure AI Services, such as App Services, Databases, BI, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, AI Search, AI Foundry, and more.

Microsoft's innovations in AI and cloud computing have played a crucial role in shaping my career. As a Microsoft MVP together with my colleague Martina Grom, and a Microsoft Partner, we at atwork are excited to follow and contribute to innovations in the cloud and AI space, delivering professional software solutions and expertise to our clients.

Happy 50th Birthday, Microsoft!
