This week, the first European Collaboration Summit (ECS) took place in beautiful Zagreb. We enjoyed the community conference together with about 500 attendees and about 60 speakers and we had a blast!
ECS (www.collaborationsummit.rocks) is the new brand of the community event SPC Adriatics, extended from SharePoint and Project topics to all the new Microsoft cloud services around Office 365 and Azure, organized by the team around Branka, Adis, Toni and Nenad (see some history at 2014, wrap-up and 2013). This year, our Martina supported compiling the sessions for the Business track.
There was a pre day on May 29h with workshops and there were five tracks on two days, from 30th to 31th May (see the agenda). The ECS team did a great job organizing the community conference. The registration price of only 80 Euro points out the community character of that special event. Thanks to all speakers and to the sponsors who made this event possible!
The speaker's list reads as the who-is-who within the Microsoft community and our team of atwork (Martina, Sigi and I) is proud that we were part of that amazing event in Zagreb.
ECS has been active on Twitter - see @collabsummit and #collabsummit... and some visual announcements here...
Creativity, passion and a lot of organization made this event possible.
We made a quick Sway with some snapshots of the conference. Enjoy!
Update: Check out this great Twitter Analysis created by TyGraph!
We hope you all had a good time in sunny Zagreb and many thanks to the organizers!
ECS will continue next year. ECS 2018 will be held June 12-14 in Mainz, Germany.
Save the date!
