This week, on November 27th to 28th, SPC Adriatics conference took place in Zagreb, Croatia, see spcadriatics.com. It was the second SPC Adriatics conference with the motto “Back to business” and about 200 participants from Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Austria, Hungary, Italy and Germany. The SharePoint conference #spcadriatics offered 40 sessions with 30 international speakers, most of them Microsoft MVPs, even from the US. Letzte Woche fand die TechNet Conference 2013 in Berlin statt. In 40 Sessions und drei Tracks konnten sich Teilnehmer über die Neuerungen der Microsoft Cloud OS (Track 1), über New Era / Client Deployment & Co IT (Track 2) und Modern Workstyle / Office Suite (Track 3) informieren, siehe Konferenz-Agenda. Mit etwa 500 Teilnehmern war das Event im ehemaligen Kino der Kosmos KG in Berlin-Friedrichshain ausgebucht. Experten von Microsoft Deutschland und Microsoft MVPs hielten die (DeepDive) Sessions mit viel Praxisbezug. Es waren auch viele internationale IT-Sprecher wie Aidan Finn, Damian Flynn, Maarten Goet, Matt McSpirit, Paula Januszkiewicz und natürlich viele bekannte MVPs aus dem DACH-Raum vertreten, siehe Sprecher. Aus Österreich hatten Martina Grom und ich Sessions im Office-Track, den Martina als Track-Owner zusammengestellt hat. ...

Delegate365 changelog version 1.3 October 2013 Added some reports for testing (only available in special customer versions). Die Umstellung der “alten” Office 365 Tenants (orange) auf die neuen Tenants (blau) in Office 365 ist ja bereits für die meisten Office 365 Kunden abgeschlossen. Jetzt geht es darum, dass auch die neuen Funktionen, vor allem in SharePoint Online genutzt werden und die User z.B. Skydrive Pro sofort einsetzen können. Die Umstellung erfolgt ja so reibungslos, dass man beinahe vergessen könnte, dass es noch ein paar Nacharbeiten gibt, eine davon ist die Umstellung der SharePoint Online Sitecollections. Dies beschreibe ich heute aus Partnersicht mit delegierten Adminrechten – wobei ein Tenantadministrator dies natürlich auch durchführen kann. ...

Gute Neuigkeiten für alle, die Yammer in ihre Enterprise Social Strategie integrieren wollen: Am 7. November 2013 wurde angekündigt, das Yammer in allen Office 365 Enterprise Plänen integriert ist. Bisher war dies nur bei Kunden mit einem Enterprise Agreement der Fall. Bei neuen Tenants (nach dem 1.11.2013 angelegt) ist der Yammer Enterprise Plan bereits im Office 365 Tenant enthalten.
