When we started with Delegate365 five years ago, basic permissions were sufficient to control what features can be used by Scope Admins. Since Delegate365 evolved with more functionality and we received requests from our customers, it was time to renew the permission control to a more granular level. So, the existing permissions have been replaced with permission policies. With Delegate365 version 8.1, each Administrator gets a permission policy assigned that controls on a very granular level, what modules and features can be managed. With Delegate365 version 8.1 there comes a new menu structure. The new menu groups the functions more logically and allows granular control with new permission policies. The new policies are are described in a separate article. See the menu differences before and after in this overview. Now, each topic is a group to make it easier for admins to find related features. With Delegate365 version 8.0, besides many other features, a brand new feature has been added to Delegate365: Group OU’s. In short, a Group OU can be used by Scope Admins for using members of another OU they do not manage themselves. See how this works here. Delegate365 version 8.0 is a major release with a bunch of new features and updates. This Delegate365 version brings support for a new partner login, improvements in the setup process after updates, integration of Azure Event Grid, new user profile features, new Group OU’s, a new check email address module, some bugfixes, new security features and some more features. We had a blast at European Collaboration Summit 2018

This week, from May 28th to 30th 2018, European Collaboration Summit (ECS) took place in the Rheingoldhalle directly on the beautiful Rhine bank in Mainz, Germany. We enjoyed the community conference together with about 1,600 IT-colleagues and we had a blast! ECS (#collabsummit) is the largest community-driven conference in Europe in 2018 with a focus on Microsoft’s cloud services Office 365 and Azure. ECS is a three-day community event, based on the previous SPC Adriatics community events that took place formerly in Zagreb, Croatia, from 2012 to 2017 and more community events, see more details at the FAQ’s.
