From 24th to 28th September, Microsoft’s largest and fourth Microsoft Ignite conference took place in Orlando, Florida. #MSIgnite is the largest and leading event for IT-Professionals, Developers and Decision-Makers in the Microsoft universe. With approximately 30,000 attendees and about 700 breakouts and a lot of theater-sessions , a large expo and a lot of networking, this event was huge. In a good week, Microsoft Ignite 2018 will start! Ignite is Microsoft’s largest yearly IT conference that will take place from September 24 - 28, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. Ignite will offer about 700+ sessions, insights and roadmaps from industry leaders, and deep dives and live demos on the products you use every day. We are looking forward to a full week to meet customers, partners and friends from all over the world. And we have prepared a bunch of great content we will deliver in our sessions! ...

Modern SharePoint Sites come with two Microsoft buttons on the bottom of each SharePoint page: “Get the mobile app” and “Feedback”. Want to remove them from your SharePoint sites? Well, then we have an easy to use solution ready for you. Since the modern communications sites in SharePoint no longer offer any customizations with CSS or Javascript, an app solution is required here. We at atwork have developed such a small app that removes the default Microsoft buttons “Get the mobile app” and “Feedback”. The solution is not free, but we offer to purchase it from us. With Delegate365 version 8.0, besides many other features, a brand new feature has been added to Delegate365: Group OU’s. In short, a Group OU can be used by Scope Admins for using members of another OU they do not manage themselves. See how this works here. In Delegate365, Scope Admins can manage all objects of their assigned OU’s. But, they could not assign other users they don’t manage to any group. This is where Group OU’s come in. Delegate365 version 8.0 is a major release with a bunch of new features and updates. This Delegate365 version brings support for a new partner login, improvements in the setup process after updates, integration of Azure Event Grid, new user profile features, new Group OU’s, a new check email address module, some bugfixes, new security features and some more features. On July 1st, the Microsoft MVP Award Program announced new and renewed MVPs. We at atwork are happy that our MVP’s have been renewed for their community contributions for 2018-2019! The MVP Award is Microsoft’s way of thanking outstanding community leaders based on their actions to share knowledge and technology in all possible ways, from speaking engagements to supporting others in communities. This week, from May 28th to 30th 2018, European Collaboration Summit (ECS) took place in the Rheingoldhalle directly on the beautiful Rhine bank in Mainz, Germany. We enjoyed the community conference together with about 1,600 IT-colleagues and we had a blast! ECS (#collabsummit) is the largest community-driven conference in Europe in 2018 with a focus on Microsoft’s cloud services Office 365 and Azure. ECS is a three-day community event, based on the previous SPC Adriatics community events that took place formerly in Zagreb, Croatia, from 2012 to 2017 and more community events, see more details at the FAQ’s. Microsoft Ignite is Microsoft’s largest, yearly conference focused on the latest insights and skills from technology leaders and practitioners with more than 25.000 attendees and will take place in September 24–28, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. This week, from May 21st to 23rd, SharePoint Conference North America 2018 - now the Microsoft 365 Community Conference took place in fabulous Las Vegas, in the MGM Grand Hotel. Martina and I were glad to be part of the conference and enjoyed the conference, the networking and cool announcements and sessions! See some visual impressions of #SPC18 here!
