Nächste Session auf dem Plan, CDP-B245, volle Bezeichnung: “Automation in System Center, Azure Pack, and Microsoft Azure with roadmap for the next release” Die Story ist natürlich über System Center Orchestrator bzw. System Management Automation im Windows Azure Pack. Ziel ist wie immer – manuelle Prozesse durch Automatisierung zu optimieren und more predictable zu machen. Das Ergebniss soll immer gleich sein und eine Standardisierung erlauben. System Center Orchestrator SCO kennt man recht gut – ein Graphischer Run Book Designer der erlaubt den Prozess selbst zu zeichen und entsprechend auf einem Runbook Server laufen zu lassen. Integration Packs die andere fremde Systeme integrieren und es erlauben unterschiedlichste Systeme zu steuern. (SQL Datenbank um alles drin zu speichern und perfekte Lösung) ...

In the coming week there will be the next update of Delegate rolled out. This will be Delegate version 2.9 which includes these updates: New Synchronization: We improved the sync processes (for domains, security groups, distribution lists and user and licenses) which now are combined in one simple step. The user import now can be configured with rules for putting users in specific OU´s depending on special properties (country, security groups, AAD properties…) ...

In Delegate365 version 2.8 there´s a new setup wizard included (as announced here). With this function companies no longer need to create a (temporary) administrator user for doing the setup process of Delegate365 but instead can setup their Azure Active Directory on their own for working with Delegate365. Prerequisites To configure your real company AAD with Delegate365 you get two access information by atwork: The Setup-URL (which usually goes like https://[yourcompany].azurewebsites.net/setup) and a configuration password (which is in fact a code) to give you the access for the setup process. This code is important and valid for this specific Delegate365 appliance. With that code you can setup the service accounts till the code is changed. More about that later. ...

Microsoft hat vor kurzem Details über die die nächsten großen Konferenzen bekanntgegeben (siehe auch TechNet Blog: Ein neuer Name für eine neue Konferenz: Microsoft Ignite Conference 2015). Seit kurzem stehen auch der Ort und der Termin für die nächste BUILD Conference fest, siehe buildwindows.com. Die Build 2015 Conference wird von 29. April – 1. Mai 2015 (wieder) in San Francisco stattfindean. Veranstaltungsort (das Moscone Center) und Zeitraum (die erste Maiwoche) sind wieder gleich gewählt wie letztes Jahr. ...

So SharePoint and Project Conference Adriatics 2014 is over now (15th to 16th October). We, @magrom and @atwork, had a really great time at SPC Adriatics 2014 - as always ;). It was our third SPC Adriatcs and we enjoyed the hospitality and meeting so many friends and colleagues from all over the world. There were about 200 attendees and about 30 speakers from 17 countries enjoying the conference in Zagreb, Croatia (see our conference announcement here). ...

Next week there will Delegate version 2.8 rolled out to all appliances. Since we often create Azure Websites I want to show a step-by-step guide how to use custom domains with your Azure Website. In my case I´m using the ISP GoDaddy.com and their web-interface and the Azure portal. Custom domain To use custom domains see also our previous post Manage custom domains in Azure websites. Wer kennt bereits “Delve”? Das ist der neue Name von “Oslo”. Ok, wer von “Oslo” noch nichts gehört hat: “Project Oslo” wurde im März auf der Microsoft SharePoint Conference vorgestellt. Damit wird der “Office Graph” innerhalb von Office 365 bezeichnet. Es handelt sich um ein Service im Unternehmensumfeld, welches Daten aus verschiedenen Datenquellen sammelt und dann Informationen über einen Benutzer liefern kann. Der Office Graph “lernt” von den Daten und Aktionen von Benutzern innerhalb von Office 365 und bietet eine Schnittstelle zur Suche und Analyse von aktuellen Daten innerhalb eines Office 365 Tenants.
