In large organizations it´s often useful to create an own Exchange administrator for performing tasks against the Exchange API´s, f.e. with PowerShell or with third party tools like our Delegate365 solution. Here´s how to create an Exchange Admin in Office 365. There are two ways to accomplish this task: The easy way is to simply create (or use) a gobal administrator in Office 365. Für alle die aktuell versuchen einen Exchange 2013 Hybrid Wizard auszuführen. Leider gibt es seit kurzem einen kleinen Bug der dafür sorgt das dies aktuell nicht möglich ist. Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE, vormals EHS) was das frühere Service, um Exchange Server vor Spam und E-Mail Viren zu schützen. Since we put our App “Like for Outlook” in the Microsoft Office Store recently here´s some information how to install Apps for Outlook as an IT-administrator. What is deployed As an App for Office consists of an App manifest XML file and a webpage (which can be Provider-Hosted or SharePoint-Hosted) the Exchange admin needs to “install” (only) the App manifest file in the Exchange system for his company. Office 365 uses Azure Active Directory for storing user information. Since SharePoint and SharePoint Online both have it´s own User Profile Service and User Store it was clear for Microsoft that some of the user properties have to be shared between these two storages.
