This week, Martina and I had the pleasure of speaking at the European Collaboration Summit (ECS) and the European Cloud and AI Summit in Cologne, Germany. With nearly 3,000 attendees, over 200 speakers, and around 300 sessions across multiple parallel tracks, the event once again demonstrated the scale and strength of the Microsoft community. On April 29, 2026, the Microsoft AI Tour landed in Zurich, Switzerland, with a big stage and lots of AI. It was a full day at Messe Zürich, with keynotes, breakouts, lightning talks, and a busy expo floor. Basically: AI everywhere, with Microsoft’s latest messaging around it. The Microsoft AI Tour is designed as a one-day deep dive into AI in practice – not just theory. From March 30 to April 1, 2026, we had the opportunity to be part of the first Adriatics Tech Summit in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. A new event on the European tech map and a very promising start. The summit brought together professionals across cloud, AI, and modern workplace topics. What stood out was the strong regional community combined with international speakers and perspectives. It didn’t feel like a “first edition.” Well organized, focused topics, and an engaged audience throughout, paired with great hospitality. ...

From April 21–23, 2026, the Microsoft 365 Community Conference returned to Orlando, hosted at the Loews Sapphire Falls and Royal Pacific Resorts. We spent the week on-site, delivering a full-day workshop and a session. A special highlight of the conference was the celebration of 25 years of SharePoint, together with Jeff Teper and parts of the product team. It was a great moment to reflect on how SharePoint has evolved from a document management system to a core platform for collaboration, intranet, and now AI-powered experiences within Microsoft 365.
