Today Microsoft announced the next BUILD conference which will take place again in San Francsisco in Moscone Center from March 30th to April 1st 2016. Today Microsoft announced a new tool named “PowerApps” at Convergence 2015 EMEA in Barcelona. PowerApps are a new service for providing a new and shiny app user interface for all kind of devices and works with any data (OData) delivered from cloud services. Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella is currently on Europe tour and announced a number of investments in the Microsoft Cloud in Europe. Microsoft will extend regional hubs in Ireland and in the Netherlands and announced new datacenters in the UK and in Germany. In Germany, Deutsche Telecom as Data Trustee under German law will be operating the German datacenters. This (data will not be saved and transported outside of Germany) was a request a lot of German customers had in the Microsoft cloud – and Microsoft reacted. Today Microsoft announced some changes in OneDrive (the consumer cloud storage) on the OneDrive Blog. To make it quick, here are the changes taken from the source blogpost “OneDrive storage plans change in pursuit of productivity and collaboration”. We’re no longer planning to offer unlimited storage to Office 365 Home, Personal, or University subscribers. Starting now, those subscriptions will include 1 TB of OneDrive storage. 100 GB and 200 GB paid plans are going away as an option for new users and will be replaced with a 50 GB plan for $1.99 per month in early 2016. ...

In kurzen Sessions informierten Toni Pohl, Christoph Wilfing, Christian Lapacka und Dennis Hobmaier (AvePoint) und Martina Grom über Office 365 Identitätsmanagement, Application Management, Exchange 2013 und 2016 Hybrid, SharePoint 2016 Hybrid und AvePoint Tools sowie über Office Pro Plus Deployment.
