Yesterday, on June 20th, the Insider Dev Tour (see insiderdevtour.com) took place in our home town Vienna. It’s a roadshow for software developers in the Microsoft universe delivering the latest news about Windows, Azure, Office, Graph, AI technology and more. I enjoyed being part of the event along with my fellow MVP colleagues and the Windows Development community. The content was more or less pre-defined and included demos and code-focused overviews of the new developer technologies coming out of Redmond. The topics included building native Win32/XAML apps and Progressive Web Apps, how to connect with new ecosystems using the Microsoft Graph and Windows Timeline (my session), how to add AI (Artificial Intelligence) into your projects, and how to bring your experiences into the next dimension through Mixed Reality and more. ...

When creating a new Azure subscription, the Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions must be defined for users to be able to work with the subscription. But, Office 365 Admins can get permissions automatically – if you define it as here! This week, from May 21st to 23rd, SharePoint Conference North America 2018 - now the Microsoft 365 Community Conference took place in fabulous Las Vegas, in the MGM Grand Hotel. The previous versions of Delegate365 brought major updates with the new reporting engine and over 80 reports. With Delegate365 version 7.5 there are more improvements coming as litigation hold for Shared Mailboxes, more reports and a new GDPR module. See the details here. Recently, Delegate365 got a new reporting engine with version 7.3 and more reports have been added with version 7.4 and version 7.5. In total, there are now 87 reports available (and likely more are about to come in the following versions). To keep up with the latest reports, we want to deliver an overview of all available reports at a glance here. Start The reports menu reveals the Delegate365 reports list. The reports are available for all users in Delegate365, for Scope Admins and for Portal Admins. Scope Admins see just data of their entitled OU’s in all their reports. Portal Admins get additional reports marked with a star* and a comment (* Portal Admin), that deliver reports and statistics about the Office 365 tenant and services without any OU filters.
