Schon ist Halbzeit bei der TechEd Europe 2014. Nach einem guten Start ist nach zwei Konferenztagen Alltag eingekehrt und man sieht tausende Teilnehmer am Fira-Gelände zwischen Sessions, Pause, Meals und Expo herumlaufen. Enterprise Mobility TechEd Announcements: Microsoft bohrt (das nun von Windows umbenannte) Microsoft Intune mit neuen Funktionen wie vollständiger Integration von Office Mobile Apps und neuen Policies auf und stellt ein neues Mobile Device Management (MDM) innerhalb von Office 365 vor (Introducing built-in mobile device management for Office 365). Mit MDM können Unternehmensdaten geschützt und “Phones remote selective wiped” werden. Diese MDM Funktionen in Office 365 basieren auf Microsoft Intune. ...

Heute hat TechEd Europe in der Fira de Barcelona begonnen. An die 5000 Teilnehmer erhalten hier aktuellste Neuigkeiten von Microsoft und Microsoft Experten. Wir haben in Know before you go & Viva España auf die Konferenz und die vielen Details rund um das Microsoft Event hingewiesen, schließlich bietet Barcelona neben einer tollen Event-Location tolle Bauwerke, Kultur und Gastronomie. In der TEE-Keynote wurden Neuigkeiten von Windows 10 gezeigt und viele neue Cloud-Features angekündigt. Aus meiner Sicht war die Keynote professionell hatte aber wenig Höhepunkte. Wer sich den Zwei-Stunden Overview selbst ansehen möchte, kann dies bereits auf Channel9 tun, alle Sessions werden bald folgen. ...

In the coming week there will be the next update of Delegate rolled out. This will be Delegate version 2.9 which includes these updates: New Synchronization: We improved the sync processes (for domains, security groups, distribution lists and user and licenses) which now are combined in one simple step. The user import now can be configured with rules for putting users in specific OU´s depending on special properties (country, security groups, AAD properties…) ...

In Delegate365 version 2.8 there´s a new setup wizard included (as announced here). With this function companies no longer need to create a (temporary) administrator user for doing the setup process of Delegate365 but instead can setup their Azure Active Directory on their own for working with Delegate365. Prerequisites To configure your real company AAD with Delegate365 you get two access information by atwork: The Setup-URL (which usually goes like https://[yourcompany].azurewebsites.net/setup) and a configuration password (which is in fact a code) to give you the access for the setup process. This code is important and valid for this specific Delegate365 appliance. With that code you can setup the service accounts till the code is changed. More about that later. ...

So SharePoint and Project Conference Adriatics 2014 is over now (15th to 16th October). We, @magrom and @atwork, had a really great time at SPC Adriatics 2014 - as always ;). It was our third SPC Adriatcs and we enjoyed the hospitality and meeting so many friends and colleagues from all over the world. Seit kurzem kann in Office 365 Tenants der sog. “Office Graph” aktiviert werden. Dieser ist derzeit als Preview in den Plänen Enterprise (Academic, Governmental) E1 bis E4 enthalten. Martina hat im TechNet Blog Delve und der Office Graph über die Aktivierung und die Details geschrieben. About Delve and Office Graph Für Developer ist natürlich interessant, wie man den Office Graph selbst anzapfen und verwenden kann. Apropos, der Begriff “Delve” (das Webportal in Office 365) steht für “vertiefen”, die Bezeichnung “Office Graph” (das Service, das Informationen sammelt, verknüpft und bereitstellt) hat Microsoft wahrscheinlich in Anlehnung an andere Systeme gewählt. Facebook App-Developer kennen etwa die “Facebook Graph-API”, die nach erfolgter Authentifizierung einer bekannten App genauso Informationen über Mitglieder liefert. ...

It´s almost time for SharePoint and Project Conference Adriatcs 2014! In about two weeks, SPC Adriatcs Conference 2014 will be held from 15th to 16th October in Zagreb/Croatia. This will be the third SPC Adriatics organized by the three MVPs Nenad Trajkovski and Toni Frankola from Croatia and Adis Jugo from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
