So we (@magrom and @atwork) had a really great week at MVP Summit 2014 on Microsoft Campus in Redmond. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Since the content of the summit was under NDA the participants tweeted a lot about stuff around the event. Here´s some statistics from Twitter with hashtag #mvpsummit. Heute hat TechEd Europe in der Fira de Barcelona begonnen. An die 5000 Teilnehmer erhalten hier aktuellste Neuigkeiten von Microsoft und Microsoft Experten. Wir haben in Know before you go & Viva España auf die Konferenz und die vielen Details rund um das Microsoft Event hingewiesen, schließlich bietet Barcelona neben einer tollen Event-Location tolle Bauwerke, Kultur und Gastronomie. In der TEE-Keynote wurden Neuigkeiten von Windows 10 gezeigt und viele neue Cloud-Features angekündigt. Aus meiner Sicht war die Keynote professionell hatte aber wenig Höhepunkte. So SharePoint and Project Conference Adriatics 2014 is over now (15th to 16th October). We, @magrom and @atwork, had a really great time at SPC Adriatics 2014 - as always ;). It was our third SPC Adriatcs and we enjoyed the hospitality and meeting so many friends and colleagues from all over the world. There were about 200 attendees and about 30 speakers from 17 countries enjoying the conference in Zagreb, Croatia (see our conference announcement here). ...
It´s almost time for SharePoint and Project Conference Adriatcs 2014! In about two weeks, SPC Adriatcs Conference 2014 will be held from 15th to 16th October in Zagreb/Croatia. This will be the third SPC Adriatics organized by the three MVPs Nenad Trajkovski and Toni Frankola from Croatia and Adis Jugo from Bosnia and Herzegovina. What once started as an (smaller) IT conference just for the Adriatics region became an international recognized and well known conference with speakers from whole Europe and America and attendees from all over the region. ...

Last week the IT DevConnections conference took place in the cool location of Aria resort in Las Vegas with about 1.400 attendees. Recently I did a lot Tenant to Tenant migrations. There are various reasons for a Tenant to tenant migration: sometimes companies are bought and their Office 365 needs to be consolidated into the tenant of the acquired company. Sometimes the Tenant name just don’t fit and the customer wants a new one. The tenant name is the one in front of onmicrosoft.com, for instance which name is contoso.onmicrosoft.com or fabrikam.onmicrosoft.com. Usually you don’t see that name – with one exception: SharePoint Online, where the tenant name shows up in the navigation bar as contoso.sharepoint.com or fabrikam.sharepoint.com. ...
