Vor kurzem habe ich an einer Umfrage teilgenommen, an der eine Gruppe entschieden hat, ob die derzeit bestehende Verteilerliste gegen eine Yammer Gruppe getauscht wird. In den Umfrageergebnissen gab es viel für und wider. Recently I was part in a poll about retiring an Exchange Distribution list (DL) and move content to a Yammer group. Not surprisingly there are a lot of pro’s and con’s for and against it. From the comments why to stay in an Exchange DL or move forward to Yammer there were some interesting arguments and viewpoints. Today Microsoft Connect(); Event Day 1 took place in New York. The Keynote and the sessions can be watched or downloaded at channel9.msdn.com/Events/Visual-Studio/Connect-event-2014/011. Microsoft had a lot of announcements for developers. See a short summary in screenshots here! ScottGu opened the event (in his classic red poloshirt and jeans). As of today Microsoft runs 19 datacenters worldwide (much more than Amazon and Google). Microsoft wants to push .NET and developers using .NET, Visual Studio and Azure. So we (@magrom and @atwork) had a really great week at MVP Summit 2014 on Microsoft Campus in Redmond. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun.
