Microsoft is rolling out the new Teams v2 client. This is now a Single Page Application (SPA), which means generated deep links no longer work. Unfortunately, this also affects the GT365 solution 09 and 11, e.g. to open the settings of a team and the management of members with a button. Here you can find out why this is the case and what workarounds are possible. This means that a direct link like https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/#/teamDashboard/[team-name]/[team-.id]/td.members now always leads to https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/ and the user ends up in the chat area. This is undesirable, but unfortunately cannot be changed because Microsoft no longer supports direct links in the Teams v2 client due to the new SPA architecture. Need to activate the Microsoft 365 sensitivity labels for Groups and Sites? This must be done with PowerShell. Find the current working script here. The article Assign sensitivity labels to Microsoft 365 groups in Microsoft Entra ID describes basically how to activate the Groups and Sites settings with Microsoft Beta Graph PowerShell: “…To apply published labels to groups, you must first enable the feature. Congratulations to the atwork team behind the Sign Language Project (SLRproject.ai) for winning the Microsoft Austria Partner Innovation Award 2023! The project aims to develop a machine learning model that can automatically translate Sign Language into text and transmit this text into various communication programs, such as Microsoft Teams. It is an innovative development and research project for sign language recognition with Azure Artificial Intelligence Services (Azure AI). The SLR project is a remarkable example of how technology can have a positive impact on society using modern AI technology. March 8th is celebrated worldwide as Women’s day. There is more of that: March is Women’s History Month. Working as a women in technology is not as exotical as it was 25 years ago, still, there is room for improvement to engage women to look into jobs in technology and also to engage them to bond with other women in technology and join allies with like minded people in the industry. In 2022 I started with the idea to celebrate women’s history month with highlighting a women in Tech every day and write why she is a role model for me and what she does. But why only 2022? The Governance Toolkit SaaS solution provides compliance coverage across multiple workloads and offers self-services for users. We have added many new improvements and services over the past few months. We started the Governance Toolkit 365 (GT365) journey at the Microsoft Ignite conference in 2018, when my colleague Martina Grom showed a first version how to develop a Power BI governance board for Microsoft 365 and an endpoint to provision a new Microsoft 365 Group with an approval workflow.
